Berkshire Bioblitz 2014

The 2014 Berkshire Bioblitz took place on 13th and 14 of June. Despite the rainy weather, a number of scientists and naturalists as well as members of the public explored the Threemile Hill Trail and the Fountain Pond near Great Barrington, MA.

Karolina Fučíková represented the Green Algal Tree of Life project and reported over 50 species of algae, spanning Cyanobacteria, Green Algae, Dinoflagellates, Cryptophytes, and Euglenophytes.
